Mermaid Valley Vineyard is a family winery on Highland Valley Road in Ramona, founded by Kim and Scott Flinn in 2013. They planted more than 3,000 vines in 2014 and brought in their first commercial harvest in 2016. The vineyard's climate mirrors France's southern Rhône, so most of its grapes are Rhône varieties, and every wine is 100 percent estate grown and produced, about 700 cases a year.
