Deerhorn Valley Vineyards has earned award-winning recognition for its handcrafted Italian varietals and blends on the Highway 94 Wine Trail. Winemaker Sarah Spotts won a Silver Medal at the 2014 San Diego International Wine Competition. The winery also offers gourmet flavored olive oils from California and 25-year-old balsamic vinegar imported from Modena, Italy — making it one of the most unique food-and-wine experiences on the Highway 94 trail. Estate vines have been established for over 10 years on the eastern slope of Lyons Peak in scenic Deerhorn Valley, Jamul.
Deerhorn Valley Vineyards welcomes private groups and special visits at their Deerhorn Valley estate barn tasting room — where you can observe winemaking in progress while tasting estate wines. The winery also sells gourmet California olive oils and Modena balsamic vinegar. Located on Honey Springs Road in Jamul, 6 miles from Highway 94.
