About Bernardo Winery

Bernardo Winery is one of the oldest operating wineries in Southern California, with roots going back over a century in Rancho Bernardo. The property is a sprawling estate with historic barrel rooms, artisan shops, and beautiful outdoor spaces that make it one of the most unique event venues in San Diego County. It’s an ideal setting for a wine festival — rustic, charming, and surrounded by vines.

Why You Should Go

This is the only event in the region where you can taste through the full breadth of San Diego County’s wine production in a single afternoon. San Diego County wines have been served at the White House, have won international awards, and represent a genuinely distinct terroir shaped by Pacific Ocean influence, elevation changes, and microclimates found nowhere else. Most people outside the local wine community don’t realize how good these wines are — this festival is the fastest way to find out.

How to Get Tickets

Tickets are available through the San Diego County Vintners Association. At $90 for general admission, this is one of the best value wine events in San Diego — unlimited pours from 20+ producers plus charcuterie for an afternoon is a genuinely excellent deal. Buy early, as this event historically sells out before the day of.
