Burtech Family Vineyard is a Vista estate winery that brings family winemaking values to one of San Diego North County's most overlooked wine communities. Burtech is a family-owned operation with an upscale-but-comfortable tasting room in Vista, while the estate vineyard sits on the family’s coastal property in Encinitas. The Vista tasting room is open Wednesday through Friday 3–7pm, Saturday 1–7pm, and Sunday 1–6pm, with no reservation needed for small groups. Expect a wide range — estate wines plus bottles sourced from Napa, Sonoma, and the Central Coast, including several Wine Enthusiast award winners. The on-site kitchen is a highlight: artisan-style pizzas made with imported Italian dough and baked in their ovens, plus homemade burgers and salads. Live music runs most weekends, and the calendar also features paint & sip nights, comedy, and seasonal events like Oktoberfest. Petite Sirah vines wrap the Vista building, adding to the setting.
