UVAS Winery (formerly Mission Cellars) is a minority-owned, women-owned urban boutique winery in the heart of Old Town Poway — one of the few women and minority-owned wineries in San Diego County. Winemaker Tito learned the craft from the ground up starting in 2021 under the previous owner, mastering every step from grape harvesting to fermentation and aging. The name UVAS (Spanish for "grapes") reflects the family's commitment to a hands-on grape-to-glass approach using minimal intervention winemaking. Features signature sangria slushies and a vibrant live music calendar.
