Winemaker Ron Bas has been crafting award-winning wines for over 20 years, schooling at UC Davis, CSUSM, and attending specialized winemaking seminars before establishing Bastian's Vineyards in Highland Valley. Ron previously grew grapes in his Rancho Bernardo backyard before acquiring the Highland Valley property. Bastian's specializes in Rhone and Bordeaux varietals estate-grown in decomposed granite soils with daily coastal breezes — ideal conditions for complex, age-worthy wines.
Private Event Availability
Bastian's Vineyards hosts private events and special occasion tastings at the vineyard tasting room set amongst the estate vines.
